About Us
A Few Words
About Us
Put simply, Africa faces a severe educational gap, with far too little of our revenue allocated to funding education. The reality is sobering—many children are unable to attend school for reasons as simple as not owning a uniform, while others sit in classrooms without even a pencil to write with.
As Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” It is on this principle that the Good-Will Hunting Foundation was created. We believe that waiting for the government to solve the crisis in education only deepens the problem.
In collaboration with international donors, publishers, and African partners, we supply underprivileged schools and students with essential educational resources—pens, pencils, notepads, textbooks, uniforms, digital materials, e-books, tablets, and computers. We also provide scholarships and student loans to ensure that deserving students can continue their education.
Through our work across the continent, we’ve learned that in the face of Africa’s educational challenges, no contribution is too small. Even something as simple as a half-used pencil has been enough to help a pupil stay in school.

Our Motivation
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.-Benjamin Franklin
Grace Adams dedicated 37 years of her life to teaching in the public school system of Kaduna State, Nigeria. Over the course of her career, she witnessed firsthand the gradual decline in the quality of public education—from once being among the best opportunities a child could receive to a system where many students today leave school underprepared.
In the years leading up to her retirement in 2015, Grace began bringing in old study materials her own children had used—textbooks, notes, and practice questions—to better equip her students. Her dedication and innovation earned her the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Institute of Human and Natural Resources.
From 2016, her passion grew into a wider initiative. She began collecting more learning materials—old textbooks, past examination papers, pens, and pencils—from friends and colleagues, distributing them to schools in need. This effort gradually expanded to include financial assistance for students, laying the foundation for what has now become the organization we know today.
Grace Adams passed away in May 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to education. Her vision continues to inspire our work and impact lives across Africa.
