Good-will foundation has been making strides into the global effort of advancing the vision of a literate world for all, especially in Africa. It views improving and acquiring the necessary literacy skills throughout life as a vital part of the right to education. The “multiplier effect” of literacy empowers people, enables them to participate fully in society, and contributes to improving livelihoods, and broadens the knowledge of people. Literacy is also a driver for sustainable development in that it enables greater participation in the labor market; improved child and family health and nutrition; reduces poverty and expands life opportunities,
Taking this into account Good-will foundation visited several schools around Nigeria enlightened them about education and its benefits and made donations of books and other educational materials to aid in acquiring good education.
